Khushi Kapoor Embraces Feedback and Gratitude Amid Rising Stardom

Khushi Kapoor, who made her Hindi cinema debut in 2023 with ‘The Archies’, directed by Zoya Akhtar, has quickly garnered attention and acclaim in the industry and on social media. Despite her rapid rise, Khushi remains humble about her newfound fame, describing herself not as a “rage” but as someone grateful for both the love and criticism she has received.

In a recent interview with VOICE, Khushi Kapoor reflected on her journey so far. “I wouldn’t call myself a rage, but I’m really blessed and grateful for the love I’m getting,” she shared, acknowledging the support she has received from fans and critics alike.

‘The Archies’, in which Khushi played the role of Betty Cooper alongside actors like Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, and Vedang Raina, marked her official entry into mainstream cinema. As the daughter of the late legendary actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Khushi expressed gratitude for the opportunities she has received and the feedback she has encountered.

“And I’m thankful for the criticism too. I’m really just taking the time to learn, grow, and focus on myself and my work,” Khushi added, emphasizing her commitment to personal and professional development in the industry.

Having made earlier appearances in student projects like the YouTube short film ‘Bhasm Ho: Pyaar Ka Takraar’ (2016) and the student short film ‘Speak Up’ (2020), Khushi Kapoor is now poised to explore more significant roles in Bollywood. She is set to star in ‘Naadaniyaan’ alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, who is also making his debut in Hindi cinema. Additionally, she has a project lined up with Junaid Khan, known for his recent film ‘Maharaj’.

“It’s nice to finally be out there in the industry, and I’m happy to be starting to find my way,” Khushi remarked, expressing her contentment with her burgeoning career.

As Khushi Kapoor continues to carve her path in Bollywood, fans eagerly await her upcoming projects, expecting her to bring both grace and talent to the screen.
