CrystalStoneMag Investigation: Alleged Fake Confirmed Ticket Racket Exposed Near Surat Railway Station

Surat, Gujarat: An on-ground investigation conducted by CrystalStoneMag, accompanied by digital creator Mukesh Officials, has uncovered an alleged ticket fraud operation targeting railway passengers outside Surat Railway Station.

During the investigation, Mukesh Officials was approached by individuals working as railway porters who allegedly offered a “confirmed train ticket” from Surat to Mumbai for ₹2,800. The individuals reportedly claimed they had a “direct arrangement” that could secure confirmed seats even when trains were heavily booked following recent reservation cancellations.

According to the investigation, the individuals demanded an advance payment of ₹500 before arranging the ticket. CrystalStoneMag’s team states that after the advance was paid, the promised confirmed ticket was not provided and the individuals allegedly disappeared.

CrystalStoneMag reports that the incident was personally witnessed and documented by its team, with supporting material including evidence gathered during the investigation. The publication states that the evidence will be shared with the appropriate authorities if required.

The incident raises concerns about passengers who may be desperate to obtain confirmed tickets and could become targets of unauthorised individuals promising guaranteed reservations through alleged “direct railway connections.”

Public Advisory

CrystalStoneMag urges passengers to:

  • Purchase railway tickets only through official Indian Railways booking channels or authorised agents.
  • Do not trust anyone claiming to provide confirmed tickets through unofficial “direct setting” or personal contacts.
  • Never pay advance money to unknown individuals for railway reservations.
  • Immediately report suspicious activity to the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP), or railway authorities.
  • Travel only with a valid railway ticket or reservation obtained through authorised methods.

CrystalStoneMag will continue monitoring such incidents in the interest of public safety and encourages anyone with similar experiences to report them to the appropriate authorities.
